From beer to bagels, tax day has become a big promotional event. More than ever this year, restaurants and merchants hope to get some relief of their own with freebie and discount offers designed to draw new and old customers.

Here are 15 deals that will help brighten income tax return deadline day for everyone. (As always, check to make sure your local outlet is offering these deals.)

1. BLT Restaurants
On April 15th, BLT restaurants across the nation help take the stress out of tax day with half-off all alcoholic beverages throughout the day.

2.Chick-Fil-A
Select locations are offering free breakfast on tax day. Call your local Chick-Fil-A to make sure they’re participating.

3. Cinnabon
Tax Day Bites, free bite-size cinnamon rolls usually known as Cinnabon Classic Bites, are free from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its 700 outlets on tax day. (Not valid at airport or travel plaza locations.)

4. IHOP
Your little tax deductions (aka children) eat free at IHOP from 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. throughout April.

5. Jamba Juice
Buy any drink off the menu and menu and get one free with this Jamba Juice printable coupon. The offer is good through April 25.

6. Kimpton Hotel Chain & Restaurants
Guests staying or eating at a Kimpton Hotel pay new taxes on their room or meal. The deal is good through tax day, but make sure your location is participating.

7. MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream & Treatery
Various locations of MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream and Treatery in various locations will give away free slices of the quirky ice creamery’s new ice cream pizza (Chocolate Lover’s, Supreme or Cheese) between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on April 15.

8. McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants
The seafood chain of restaurants is offering its own stimulus package. Bar visitors on Wednesday at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants can select from a menu of $10.40 dinner and drink specials. You’ll also receive a $10.40 gift certificate for future use.

Tax preparers also will receive their due on April 16. Present your business card and receive a $10.40 tax-relief certificate good for your next visit, as well as a complimentary dessert.

9. McDonald’s
A few Micky D’s appear to be offering a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder or Egg McMuffin for a penny when you buy one at regular price. The deal is only good at a few locations, so ask first.

10. P.F. Chang’s China Bistro
Get a 15-percent discount on April 15 for all sales at any of P.F. Chang’s more than 190 restaurants.

11. Taco Del Mar
Taco Del Mar has the right idea with their “Taxes Suck. Tacos Don’t” campaign. Register at their website to receive an emailed, free taco coupon good on April 15 at any of its 275 restaurants in the West.

12. TGI Fridays
T.G.I. Friday’s will give Wednesday customers $5 Bonus Bites gift cards for food and beverage purchases of $15 to $25, as well as $10 gift cards for those who spend more than $25. Members of the 1,000-outlet chain’s frequent-customer program also will receive double points.

13. Whole Foods Market
Some Whole Foods Markets are offering tax-free shopping during normal business offers on tax day.

14. Zazzle.com
Cool gear site Zazzle.com is featuring a tax-day discount through Thursday. Enter the code “TAXDAYZAZZLE” at checkout and you’ll get a $10.40 percent discount on your order.

15. Free Ecards
Send free tax-day condolence cards at AmericanGreetings.com, Regards.com, and Greetings.AOL.com.
