This site remembers the 11th President and his history. It is open from 9 – 5 pm Tuesday – Saturday.

This gallery has a rotating range of exhibits and is open during normal library hours.

3.UNCC Botanical Gardens
These gardens are open seven days a week during daylight hours for any visitor to come.
4. Reedy Creek Park and Nature Preserve
The nature preserve offers fishing, trails and many different birds and animals.

5. Reed Gold Mine
While visting the mine you can see the museum and go on a 30 minute tunnel tour all for free.

6. Stanly County Museum
The museum contains Native American artifacts and history. It is open Tuesday – Friday from 10am – 5pm and Saturday from 10am – 4pm.
7. North Carolina Transportation Museum
This is an extensive museum covering some of the history of the railways and is located at what used to be the largest steam locomotive repair facility.

This is a textile museum that explores the history of Cannon village. It is open Monday – Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
